Hi people,

I wrote this [blog post](https://vramana.github.io/blog/2016/01/13/codemods-path-to-painless-updgrade-in-ember/) titled **Codemods: Path to painless upgrades in ember** in which I explain how codemods can be used to simplify the ember upgrade process. As I explain in the blog post, probably one has to change code at multiple places related to the deprecation messages, is this the case? Even if this is the case, I think codemods can still be used since ember projects have such a structured way of writing applications. Since I have not written single line of ember, what do you think about codemods? Can they be effective?
