# Ember-cli upgrade process

I just tried and it’s “help”, and just lists what the Y, n, d and h stand for.

Which is hilarious to me that pressing “h” is the only thing that tells me what pressing “h” will do.

or you can typue `e` if your `$EDITOR` is set, and edit the diff

Interesting. Can you explain further? Where is $EDITOR set? Does it matter what OS we’re talking about? So when you set this, you will have Y,n,d,h, and e options in the command line? When you do this, you’re editing it in your text editor? I was assuming that in the method I described as well. Perhaps the added benefit of the method is automatically diff-ing, and not having to press d again?

please all of you if you can help me update this 2015 app with only 3 years old it’s completely obsolete and it’s wonderful from now on, thank you very much
