Ember seems to be very slow at rendering lists. To investigate I’ve made 3 versions of a page that toggles rendering 2,000 span elements: emberjs: http://jsbin.com/enapec/21/edit (updated to @machty’s version with minified sources ) plain jquery: http://jsbin.com/enapec/2/edit angularjs: http://jsbin.com/enapec/3/edit They are implemented as similarly as is practical.
