Hey all, the Rust package repository, Crates.io is an Ember app—and their contributors don’t at present have a ton of Ember experience or knowledge. I heard recently from a member of the Cargo team:
They are feeling stuck, as they have no regular contributors that are knowledgeable about how to use it well. Contributors are very desperately needed. If you know of any ember devs interested in helping the rust community, please send them to the crates.io team! I know that they are especially looking to get “fastboot” working. The PR is almost done, but they don’t know how to fix the small remaining problems.
If you have some time for open source work, this would be a huge help to the Rust community, and it’d be fantastic if crates.io ended up being another high-quality open-source Ember app we could point to!
