Ember and typesafety

Hi! Whenever I google ember typescript, all I get is some addons, but I can’t see any projects using them - I can’t seem to find anyone using Typescript on any real-world project in Ember. It gets worse if I google ember flowtype. It just seems to me that ember is getting behind on type-safety.

So I’m wondering:

  • How many of you are using Typescript/Flowtype in your Ember project?

  • What addon (if any) are you using? How did you integrate it into your project?

  • What’s the overall sentiment of using it, pros, cons?

  • Is there a need for type-safety in your projects?

typescript and ember’s object model don’t mix well. unfortunately.

Could use flow for type check or it don’t work as well.
